Scissor-Loc DC

The Scissor-Loc (DC) floor is one of the most popular floating floor systems available. Performance engineering and top quality materials also make Scissor-Loc (DC) one of the best floor systems available. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of Scissor-Loc (DC) is that in addition to being laboratory tested and DIN certified, Scissor-Loc (DC) has also been field tested and DIN certified by an independent testing organization.

Field testing demonstrates that Scissor-Loc (DC) behaves in the real world exactly as it was designed to. Not many sports floor manufacturers can make that claim.

SELF-VENTILATING / SELF-DRYING
Moisture trapped between the concrete slab and the wood floor often causes the floor to expand and contract. Scissor-Loc (DC)'s performance engineered subfloor provides a criss-cross airflow that significantly reduces problems associated with excess moisture.

The Scissor-Loc family of floor systems are the only floors that feature a subfloor system engineered to permit criss-cross airflow. Criss-cross airflow significantly reduces floor expansion and contraction caused by humidity changes. Scissor-Loc (DC) also has a unique ability to reduce dead spots. The solid subfloor, in full contact with all components, creates a uniformity throughout the entire system. Scissor-Loc (DC) also features a closed-cell foam underlayment that assures excellent resilience, as well as increased moisture protection.

ADVANCED SHOCK ABSORPTION AND DEFORMATION CONTROL
Scissor-Loc (DC)'s performance engineered subfloor allows maximum shock absorption, without transferring the shock back to the surface in another area. When an athlete jumps down on the floor, more than 59% of the shock is absorbed by the floor, while less than 15% of the shock is returned to the surface 20 inches away, where another athlete may be standing.

Another benefit of Scissor-Loc (DC)'s performance engineering is its thickness. Scissor-Loc (DC) has the same thickness as a padded sleeper system. This makes Scissor-Loc (DC) an excellent replacement for worn-out padded sleeper and synthetic systems.

Scissor-Loc I, II, & III

The Scissor-Loc family of sports floor systems are some of the most popular floating sports floor systems available. Performance engineering and top quality materials make the Scissor-Loc family the best sports floor systems available.

Performance engineering ensures that there is a Scissor-Loc system right for you. Whether you are installing a new floor, or replacing an old wood or deteriorating synthetic system, Scissor-Loc is the Superior choice.

This is the original Scissor-Loc system. Well known for its fast playing surface, combined with good shock absorption and low surface energy transference. Scissor-Loc I is an excellent choice where a fast playing surface is the goal.

SCISSOR-LOC II This second generation Scissor-Loc system provides additional shock absorption and reduced surface energy transference, without significant loss of surface speed. Scissor-Loc II is an excellent choice where a combination of fast playing surface with added shock absorption and low surface energy transference are the goals.

This is the newest Scissor-Loc system, Scissor-Loc III provides the ultimate in shock absorption. Scissor-Loc III is the perfect choice for aerobics floors.

Super-Aire II DC

The Super-Aire II is a performance engineered, state of the art sports floor system that maximizes resilience for the athlete, while also providing exceptional ball bounce. Super-Aire II (DC) is a floating floor system with a double-layer plywood subfloor that rests on biomechanically designed rubber pads.

These biomechanically designed pads are what separates Super-Aire II (DC) from other double plywood systems currently on the market. Each Super-Aire II (DC) pad features a unique multi-stage design that permits controlled deformation and resiliency.

Super-Aire II (DC)'s continuous subfloor allows each flooring strip to rest firmly on the plywood subfloor. This system substantially reduces the risk of floor breakage and splintering. Super-Aire II (DC) is also quick, easy and relatively inexpensive to install.

Super-Aire I & II

The Super-Aire family of sports floor systems are excellent choices where padded double plywood systems are specified. Because of their continuous subfloor, Super-Aire systems are especially well known for reducing the potential of floor breakage and splintering.

The Super-Aire I floor is a floating floor system with a double layer of plywood subfloor. Because the Super-Aire I system has a continuous subfloor, individual boards rest firmly on the plywood subfloor. This prevents floor breakage and splintering. Each Super-Aire I pad lies flat when in its finished position; thereby, eliminating almost all of the dead spots.

Super-Aire II incorporates Super-Aire I advanced double-layer plywood design with a second generation rubber pad for added resilience.

Super Sport

The Super-Sport floor is one of several high quality floating floor systems manufactured by Superior Floor Company. Because the Super-Sport Floor System has a low profile, it makes an ideal replacement for most existing systems. The Super-Sport is part of the Scissor Loc family of floors that features a special subfloor that permits criss-cross airflow. It's this airflow that cuts down on floor expansion and contractions brought about by humidity changes.

The Super-Sport Floor Sysytem also has the unique ability to reduce dead spots. The solid subfloor, in full contact with all components, creates a uniformity throughout the entire system. Because the wood constructed Super-Sport floor features a closed cell foam underlayment, you can be assured of an excellent resiliency factor as well as an important vapor barrier that shuts off vapor transmitted from the concrete slab.

Super-Bond III DC

These new parquet systems from Superior offer state-of-the-art performance to the budget minded. Super-Bond III DC offers DIN performance at a surprisingly low cost. Super-Bond III Ultra provides added resilience without added cost.

These systems represent the ultimate in parquet performance. Super-Bond III DC meets ALL of the requirements for DIN certification, while Super-Bond III Ultra provides added resilience for activities such as aerobics.

Super-Bond I, II, & III

The Super-Bond family of sports floor systems are the preferred value leaders. Performance engineering, com-bined with top quality parquet flooring makes Super-Bond floors the perfect choice for budget minded installations.

Performance engineering ensures that there is a Super-Bond system right for you. Whether you are installing a new floor, or replacing an old wood or deteriorating synthetic system, Super-Bond is a Superior choice.

Our original parquet system is still a sound value leader. Super-Bond I uses top quality Northern Hard Maple and can be installed directly over concrete or an existing synthetic floor.

Super-Bond II features the same top quality Northern Hard Maple parquet as Super-Bond I, but also includes a rubber underlayment pad for added resilience.

Super-Bond III is performance engineered to maximize the potential of a parquet floor system. The design of the subfloor gives Super-Bond III the performance characteristics of traditional floors, while retaining the economy of parquet.
